Suiforlun Hybrid Mattress Rated
The Suiforlun Hybrid Mattress is comfortable, supportive, and easy to set-up, and it comes in at a great price too!
Side-sleepers and those who prefer to have solid edges on their mattress may not be entirely thrilled with this bed, but it certainly checks a lot of the boxes in the ‘pros’ category.
- Firmly comfortable
- Good support
- Great price
- Minimal motion transfer
- Easy delivery and set-up
- 10 year warranty
- Sinks at the edges
- Not soft enough for side sleepers
The Suiforlun 12-Inch Luxury Pillow Top Hybrid Mattress (available on Amazon) is an affordable memory foam – innerspring hybrid that’s proving very popular.
Super supportive, firmly comfortable and easy to set up, it’s no wonder really.
However, there are some compromises to be had — I found the edge support a little lacking and I’m not convinced it’s soft enough to be satisfying for side sleepers.
Nonetheless, before you make your final decision, let’s take a closer look at the Suiforlun Hybrid Mattress…
Suiforlun Hybrid Mattress Review
- 12 inches thick
- Medium-Firm hardness
- Comprised of gel memory foam, comfort foam and pocketed springs
- Bamboo fiber knit cover
- Requires 48 hours for expansion
- 10 year warranty
Of course, true comfort is subjective but I feel confident that people who like a firm bed will love the Suiforlun Hybrid.
With its soft bamboo outer covering, the pressure-relieving support of the five foam layers, and the individually-wrapped innersprings, it is not hard to see why so many people like it.
The foam will contour right to your body, and the mattress sits in that perfect Goldilocks spot of being medium-firm.
All the materials are breathable, so the mattress won’t get too hot either.
The foam encases all the innersprings, so you don’t have to worry about ever feeling them through the mattress. No more tossing and turning either. What more could you ask for?
Have you ever been woken up by your partner rolling over in the night, thanks to poor motion transfer? With the Suiforlun mattress, that’s a worry of the past.
Each pocketed spring moves independently of the others, so motion transfer is no longer an issue.
If you put a bowl of cereal on one side and sit on the other, the bowl won’t be disturbed. The springs of the mattress are also silent as a result.
This makes this mattress a great option for partners on differing schedules or those that tend to sleep a little more restless than their partner. Light sleepers won’t be bothered or awakened by bouncy movements.
The innerspring system isn’t just great for zero motion transfer – it also makes for a supportive mattress. The coils are wrapped firmly to provide extra support.
There’s no sagging with this mattress. Whether you’re a back- or stomach-sleeper or are big or small, the Suiforlun mattress will support you just as you are.
With the combo of the springs and the five layers of foam, there is no worry of the pressure points on your back or neck being abused during the night.
The set-up is also pretty simple. The mattress arrives at your door in a box via the mail, which means less from you after you’ve ordered.
I should warn that even though you’ll skip the awkward task of lugging it from the department store to your home, due to its weight, you may require help moving it into your house. A big mattress is pretty heavy!
Once it’s in your bedroom though, it’s as easy as pie. Simply take it out of the box, place it on the base or box spring of your choice, unroll it, and cut off all the plastic coverings.
It will take a couple of days to fully decompress – and then you’re all set to enjoy a great night’s rest.
Not only is the Suiforlun resistant to allergens, mold, bacteria, and dust mites, but it is also certified by CertiPUR-US to be flame retardant, free of heavy metals, formaldehyde, and phthalates.
The mattress is also guaranteed to have low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions, so it is made of nothing that could affect your air quality.
So, while you get a good night’s sleep, there’s no worry of chemical irritants or anything else that’s a part of your mattress affecting your environment.
The bamboo fabric also has the added benefit of taking away the smell that usually comes with foam mattresses, so if you are particularly sensitive to odor, you’re all good there too. It’s a win all around!
A mattress is an important purchase: you use it literally every day, for hours at a time, but that doesn’t mean you need to empty your wallet for a good bed.
Suiforlun has packaged all of these features into an affordable price, making it easy for those looking for a new bed to make the switch.
Budget shoppers won’t cringe at the cost, and the price opens up the option of using this mattress for an occasional bed like in a guestroom.
This is also a great solution for those moving into a dorm or their first home. You won’t have to sacrifice comfort for affordability.
One of the things to ask before you buy a cheap mattress is, will it last a long time?
The Suiforlun certainly feels sturdy.
Not only are the springs durable, but the bamboo fabric that covers the mattress protects the insides from harm too.
The knit cover also makes it easy to keep your mattress cleaner; if there’s a spill, you can easily wipe out the stain without it getting to the rest of your bed.
Don’t let the softness of the outer fabric fool you. It will stand up to most of the normal wear and tear a mattress goes through. The foam, fabric, and inner coils will keep you comfortable for years to come.
So not only do you save on the overall cost of your mattress, but chances are, you’ll be able to hang on to this mattress for a long time, only stretching your dollar.
I was really disappointed that the support seen in the rest of the mattress doesn’t extend to the edges — they are definitely prone to sinking if you’re sitting on them.
Whether this is a deal breaker for you or not is obviously entirely your call, but suffice to say it’s pretty annoying sinking into the bed every time you want to chill out on the edge. You’ll have to tie your shoelaces somewhere else 🤷🏽♂️
While the mattress may be supportive, that is not the case around the sides.
I would avoid the Suiforlun Hybrid mattress if you’re a side sleeper — it’s just a little too firm for that position.
It basically lacks the softness necessary to avoid shoulder and hip pain if you sleep sideways. So, if this is your preferred position, it may be wise to choose a different mattress.

Suiforlun: The Brand
Suiforlun is a manufacturer of home furnishing products but mainly focuses on beds.
They state that their mission is to “help people sleep better,” and therefore offer their products at an affordable rate with great service for their customers.
They also make mattress toppers and pillows, so you have a range of buying choices with this company.
If you’re looking for a firmly supportive hybrid mattress on a budget, the Suiforlun Mattress is a good buy.
Comfortable, supportive, sleeps cool — it ticks all the major boxes.
Where it does fall down is with a lack of edge support and none of the plushness that side sleepers might value. But the price tag is certainly agreeable!Check Price on Amazon
